Children’s Hospital and Marquette College of Nursing celebrate opening of new community health clinic

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held by Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Marquette University College of Nursing to open a Community Health Clinic on Friday, September 27, 2013. The clinic will serve a neighborhood that has few primary care options. The facility will serve pediatric patients from birth to 19 years of age and their adult caregivers. The nurse-managed clinic will be staffed by adult and family nurse practitioners from Marquette University College of Nursing. Health care disparities and limited health care options have historically been a major problem on Milwaukee’s north side.
