On Saturday, March 5, 2016 Mrs. Susie James (right) celebrated her 102nd birthday at the Northwest Family Center, 4104 W. Good Hope Rd. Mrs. James was joined by family and friends for dinner, reflections, and tributes in song. Among the guests was Senator Lena Taylor who presented Mrs. James with a proclamation.
