GMUL awards laptops to 40 students and 10 scholarships

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, The Greater Milwaukee Urban League (GMUL) and Kohler Co., teamed up to present 40 local high school graduates laptops as part of the ” The Greater Milwaukee Urban League Annual Laptop Awards Ceremony,” at the Milwaukee County Zoo Peck Pavilion. GMUL President and CEO Dr. Eve M. Hall and other program supporters presented the grads with the laptops. In addition ten of the students received scholarships to purchase books in partnership with Kohler Co. At GMUL they believe our young people are our future, and we all share the responsibility of making sure they are prepared for the future. Thanks to Kohler Co., Johnson Controls, Ernst & Young, Target, Enterprise, and Huntington Bank, students will have a chance to head off to college with the latest technology needed for success and a scholarship to help purchase books.
