On March 31, 2025 the Milwaukee Brewers hosted their home opener at American Family Field. It was a bittersweet occasion as it was the first one without beloved Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Uecker, who passed away in January 2025. The home opener included several remembrances, including Ueck’s signature across the outfield grass, a moment of silence and the Milwaukee debut of the Uecker jersey patch on all on-field personnel jerseys. There were additional nods to Uecker throughout the game.

The Brewers hosted the Kansas City Royals for three games, March 31 – April 2, 2025, during their home opener series. While they lost the the first game(1-11), the Brew Crew would win games 2 (5-0) and 3 (3-2).

Among those in attendance for the home opener were (above photo) members of the US Bank Advisory Board and US Bank Senior Vice President for Wisconsin Branches Nina Johnson (above photo, center).
