Bethesda Baptist Church holds 50th anniversary church banquet

On Friday, August 8, 2024, Bethesda Baptist Church concluded its week-long “50th Year Church Anniversary” celebrations with an elegant banquet at Sonesta Milwaukee West Hotel, 10499 W. Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, WI.

More than 200 individuals were in attendance to help celebrate the wonderful milestone, including church members, community friends and leaders, other supporting churches and out-of-town speakers and guests. The event included a red carpet photo booth, full spread buffet, special tributes to past and present pastors, musical selections, and a keynote address by guest speaker Bishop T.L. Hood from Crossroads Christian Cathedral Church in Kansas City, KS. The program was hosted by Deacon Lonnie and Sister Danaette Biddle.

Since its founding in 1974, the congregation has had three leaders – the late Dr. Robert L. Sims, the late Rev. Robert Armstrong, and since 2019, Pastor Rev. Cleavon and First Lady Consuella Williams.
