A-LEGO hosts ‘The Power of Connections Conference 2019’

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, African American Ladies Empowered to Grow Opportunities (A-LEGO) hosted its annual “The Power of Connections Conference 2019,” at Mother Kathryn Daniels Conference Center, 3500 W. Mother Daniels Way.

A part of the conference was the Awards Banquet featuring keynote speaker, Baltimore’s 49th Mayor Stephanie C. Rawlings-Blake (inset); honorees included local religious, community and business leaders.

Among those honored were Mother Virda Lovelace, Mrs. Terri Lynn Winglet, Pastor Jacquelyn Humphrey, Dr. Doriel Ward, CTSI, Pastor Martha Freeman, Tamesha Russell, Lynda Jackson Conyers, Pastor Jerome Smith, Sr., Elder Richard Bush, Sr., Pastor Monica Parchia Price, Elder Sam Brown, Dr. Margaret Stone, Mother Lilly Bates, Tracey Dent, and Terri Perkins.

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, African American Ladies Empowered to Grow Opportunities’ (A-LEGO) annual “The Power of Connections Conference 2019,” was a gathering for women of color to come together and learn and share ideas. Some of the presenters at this year’s conference are among some of the best and brightest from the various sectors of our community.
