North Sunrise Rotary Club Helps Lynda Jackson Conyers Turn A Birthday Wish into A Reality

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, former Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper Publisher Lynda Jackson Conyers along with 30 friends and family celebrated her birthday at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Brookfield. But rather than gifts she asked all her guests to bring canned goods for MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary. The response was overwhelming; more than 10 baskets of nonperishable food items were collected. Among those invited to the event were Jim Milner, President of the Milwaukee North Sunrise Rotary Club, to join her in delivering the donations to the Sanctuary on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Rotarian Angela Stinson was also on hand to help make the delivery a true community effort.
