On Friday, February 27, 2026, the Greater Milwaukee Urban League (GMUL) hosted their “Economic Vibrancy Luncheon” at the the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. The annual event began with an exclusive Executive Briefing that brought together 33 of Milwaukee’s most influential leaders — top executives, strategic partners, and visionary entrepreneurs — for an intimate, high-level conversation with NVIDIA SVP of Software Engineering, Dwight Diercks. The event proceeded onto the afternoon luncheon, where 290 attendees gathered to celebrate innovation, opportunity, and the future of our community. The initiative focuses not just on innovation, but on access — making sure communities of color and undeserved populations are not left out of the digital economy.
During the event a number of awards were handed out including the Corporate Technology Impact Award recipient AT&T, accepted by Robyn Gruner; and our Technology Trailblazers, Adonica Randall of Abaxent, LLC., Nadiyah Johnson of Jet Constellations, and Ryan and Alexis Rogers of Nouvelle Marketing. Dr. Eve M. Hall, president and CEO of the GMUL, said the event was designed to build meaningful partnerships around AI’s growing impact.
