On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the Greater Milwaukee Urban League (GMUL) recently convened its Annual Meeting, hosted by Spectrum, bringing together community leaders, civic dignitaries, businesses, board members, and local supporters to celebrate the organization’s ongoing commitment to equity and empowerment across the Milwaukee community. This year’s gathering centered on the theme Partnerships and Collective Impact, underscoring GMUL’s belief that lasting change is achieved not in isolation, but through intentional collaboration across sectors and communities.
Dr. Eve M. Hall, President and CEO of the GMUL, delivered a compelling address on the power of partnerships and the measurable difference that unified, community-driven efforts can make in the lives of Milwaukee residents.
The event was highlighted by a keynote address from Dr. Brenda Cassellius, Superintendent of Milwaukee Public Schools, who brought a timely and powerful perspective on the role of educational institutions in advancing partnerships throughout the city.
Adding a special touch of inspiration to the evening, students from Lynn and Harry Bradley Technical and Trade High School and Carver Academy of Mathematics and Science greeted attendees — a meaningful reminder that the work of the Greater Milwaukee Urban League begins and ends with Milwaukee’s young people.
The Annual Meeting, made possible through the generous support of Spectrum, served as both a celebration of progress and a rallying call for the collaborative work ahead, reinforcing GMUL’s role as a cornerstone institution in building a more just and thriving Milwaukee.
