Of Public Hearing on Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2024
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 119.16(8)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors will give public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budgets on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 5:30 P.M. in the Central Services Auditorium at 5225 W. Vliet Street, Milwaukee. Public testimony may be given in person and virtually. Those who wish to speak must register in advance. To register to speak on the virtual platform, call 414-475-8200 before 3:00 P.M. on May 16, 2023. In-person speakers must fill out a speaker slip and turn it in to the Board Clerk before the start of the meeting. Speaker slips will not be accepted once the meeting has begun. The meeting will be broadcast on WYMS 88.9FM, on the MPS YouTube stream and the MPS livestream, the links to which may be found at https://mps.milwaukee.k12.wi.us/en/District/About-MPS/School-Board/Boardcast.htm.
