MPS Athletics hosts seventh edition of the ‘City Review Basketball Showcase’

Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Athletics will host the seventh edition of The City Review basketball showcase on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Marquette University’s Al McGuire Center. The City Review is one of the highlights of the season for participating MPS City Conference teams and promises a high-level of competition.

“We are thrilled to, once again, be hosting The City Review,” said MPS Athletics Commissioner Bobbie Kelsey. “Being able to bring back this event is very exciting for us and our student- athletes and coaches. They work incredibly hard all year and this is an opportunity for them to showcase their talents. It will be a great day!”

The schedule of games is as follows:

11a.m. – Reagan Huskies vs. Bradley Tech Trojans (girls)
12:45 p.m. – Vincent Vikings vs. Bay View Redcats (boys)
2:15 p.m. – MSL Hawks vs. Rufus King Generals (girls)
5:00 p.m. – Washington Purgolders vs. Riverside Tigers (boys)
6:30 p.m. – Rufus King Generals vs. Hamilton Wildcats (boys)

Doors will open at 10 a.m. for the event and COVID-19 protocols will be in place including, reduced capacity limits, mask requirements for spectators, and social distancing. Tickets can be purchased by visiting this link or at mpsmke.com/cityreview.
