Drumlines compete for City Championship
Competition will be fierce on Saturday, December 8 when the 16th Annual MPS Battle of the Drumlines crowns the City Champion. Spectators will be treated to stick tricks, precision drumming, and showmanship in this dazzling contest. The battle will include Rufus King International School, 2017–18 City Champion. V100’s Promise will emcee the event.
Seven high school drumlines and three middle school groups are scheduled to appear. Attendees are encouraged to cheer for their favorite teams from among MPS’ finest. Spectator tickets are $3 at the door.
