It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Mother & Son Superhero Night!

Milwaukee Recreation will host its first-ever Mother & Son Superhero Night on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Mothers and sons are welcome to come dressed in their favorite superhero attire for an evening of arts and crafts, superhero training activities, and healthy snacks.

Here is the event information:

• Saturday, November 10
• 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• Hamilton High School, 6215 W. Warnimont Ave. (Enter door #5 off south parking lot)
• Fee for moms: $15 for Milwaukee residents/$23 for non-residents
• Fee for sons (ages 1-10): $5 for Milwaukee residents/$ 8 for non-residents
• Register at https://web2.vermontsystems.com/wbwsc/wimilwaukeewt.wsc/search.html?display=detail&module=AR&primarycode=2RCE3322

Mothers and sons can look forward to superhero bowling, light saber training, a Gotham/ Metropolis obstacle course, a costume contest, kryptonite toss, superhero parachute barrage, superhero and villain tag, and many other activities. A photo booth will also be present with the option of purchasing a photo for $5 (cash only).

Participants are strongly encouraged to sign up before Nov. 9 by completing the registration form in Milwaukee Recreation’s Fall 2018 Recreation Guide or registering online. Walk-up registrations will only be accepted if space allows.

So dust off your Wonder Woman kits and lace up those Batman capes, because it’s time to show off your skills, strength, and spirit with the rest of our local superheroes!
