BRIA of Trinity Village honored three Black History Makers at a history program on February 15, 2016. Seated (from left) are Beverly Jean Jones Hightower Coleman, a long-time nurse and award-winning education volunteer; Delores Nicholson Wilkins, a nurse practitioner employed for 20 years at the former Mt. Sinai Hospital, and later as a parish nurse at her local church; and Irene Bell, who become one of the first three women in Milwaukee to qualify to drive a Greyhound Bus, a vocation she pursued for 25 years. Currently, she supervises 30 visiting teachers who provide bible home study.
