On Sunday, September 18, 2016, Milwaukee Health Services,
Inc. (MHSI), celebrated 27 years of service to
Milwaukee’s most underserved neighborhoods during
their family friendly comedy show, “Laughter for the
Soul: Chuckles for Your Health!” The show was held
at Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Cooley Auditorium.
The special guest for the event was world renowned
stand-up comedian Cedric The Entertainer,
as well as local comedians Carl Strong; D-Rock; Da
Jester; Fox 6 News chief meteorologist Rob Haswell;
and Drew Quiles; with music by Christopher’s Project;
Jackie Caldwell; and DJ Cheerio. The hosts for the event
included Fox 6’s Cassandra McShepard, comedian Kelly
Kellz and Jammin’ 98.3 F.M.’s morning host Andrea
Williams. Pictured at the comedy event are Cedric the
Entertainer with MHSI president and CEO Dr. Tito Izard,
who thanked the crowd for coming and supporting
the wonderful community work of MHSI.
