As graduations draw near, MPS high school seniors are sharing their plans to attend college or technical school, enter military service, earn certificates, and embark on apprenticeships. MPS hosts 49th Biennial Music Festival

Last week, hundreds of MPS students from more than 70 schools across the district assembled at the UWM Panther Arena and filled it with music! Two MPS schools receive Green Ribbon School recognition

To mark Earth Day on April 22, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education announced a list of 27 schools across the country to receive recognition for efforts at reducing environmental impact and improving the health of schools. MPS reinstates face mask mandate

Face masks were optional at Milwaukee Public Schools for one full school day. The school district announced Tuesday April 19, 2022, that masks will once again be mandatory for students and staff in all district buildings. The policy took effect Wednesday, April 20, 2022 . Summer programs are free for students living in the city of Milwaukee; students living outside the city of Milwaukee can attend by paying a fee.
