On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Northcott Neighborhood House, 2460 North 6th St., partnered with Jammin’ 98.3 for “Feeding Milwaukee Live.” The event was to collect food and monetary donations to help Northcott restock their pantry. With the government shutdown putting a pause on federal food aid (or SNAP benefits), families right here in Milwaukee are feeling the strain. Local food banks and pantries are stepping up — but they can’t do it alone.
There was also information on how to receive food assistance if you or someone you know needs help. The first 100 people who donated received a pair of tickets to Summerfest 2026, as well as tickets to see New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton at Fiserv Forum.
Northcott’s food pantry provides stock boxes to over a 1000 senior citizens monthly and provides food pantry access to citizens in the 53212 and 53206 zip codes. Northcott can be found by those who need emergency food on 211 website or by calling 211 or Northcott directly at (414) 372-3770.
