Northcott Neighborhood House announces winners and full courtof the ’31st Annual Juneteenth Scholarship’ event

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Northcott Neighborhood House Executive Director Tony A. Kearney, Sr., Juneteenth Scholarship Director LaTonya Lucas and the Juneteenth Planning Committee hosted a press conference to announce the winners of the 2023 Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant Winners and Court, at Northcott Neighborhood House, 2460 N. 6th Street. This year’s winners are: Miss Juneteenth Day winner Adaobi Nnamuchi, 1st runner-up Gianna Cooks, 2nd runner-up Gabrielle McKenzie, 3rd runner-up Trooper Owens; Little Miss Juneteenth Day winner Brionna Clemmons, 1st runner-up Danielle McKenzie, 2nd runner-up Zuri Green, 3rd runner-up Taniya Purifoy; Mister Juneteenth Day Junior winner Mason Donald, 1st runner-up Keymon Thomas; and Mister Juneteenth Kyon Myles, who holds onto the title from 2022.
The 2023 Juneteenth Court has worked hard and showcased their talents, skills, and intelligence. Please come cheer them on at the 2023 Juneteenth Day Parade and Celebration on Monday, June 19, 2023, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., from 14th and Atkinson to MLK Dr. and Locust.
