CAPITA Productions presents ‘We Are The Drum’ 2020

On Saturday, February 29, 2020, CAPITA (City at Peace in The Arts) Productions presented “We Are The Drum 2020: Believe, Achieve, Receive,” at Marshall High School, 4141 N. 64th Street. The musical event was a dynamic celebration of our country’s rich African American heritage and history, spotlighting some of the greatest African American musical entertainers of all time.
The majority of the performers were local Milwaukee youth who took the audience on a musical journey through time that was as educational as it was entertaining. CAPITA is a unique non-profit multi-cultural company in Milwaukee that partners with local schools to produce professional quality musical theater serving students and community members with limited access to quality stage and production training.
