On Thursday, March 14, 2019, Alderwomen Milele A. Coggs, Chantia Lewis and Nikiya Dodd hosted the “9th Annual Girls’ Day at City Hall.” The program is designed to help expose young women to potential careers in public service and strong leadership roles in local government.

The event included panel discussions, workshops, and opportunities for active engagement and involvement with several public service-oriented organizations and entities focused on young women and led by women.

As part of the event one young lady, Alicia Marie Webb (inset), was presented with a college scholarship by the Alderwomen.
