On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, WRTP/Big Step held a completion ceremony for their Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) safety courses at their building, 3841 W. Wisconsin Ave.
This course emphasizes safety, fire extinguisher use, and wearing proper personal protective equipment such as eye and ear protection and hard hats. The students completed the MSSC safety course for an opportunity to earn industry recognized, nationally portable credentials and college credits. This class also opens doors for individuals who do not follow traditional education and career pathways.
