Hallowed Missionary Baptist Church hosts ‘Community Outreach Cook-out’

On Saturday, August 11, 2018, Hallowed Missionary Baptist Church hosted a “Pre-Vacation Bible School Community Outreach Cook-out,” at their church, 3800 N. Port Washington Rd. The annual event offered the opportunity for the community to meet with local organizations, officials and representatives coming together to work on community needs in an effort to promote a safer city. There was also free food, games, entertainment, and arts and crafts. The event was hosted by Hallowed MBC pastor Rev. Aaron Morgan, Sr., and First Lady Merdis Morgan (inset photo, from left). Pictured at the event are the many church members and volunteers with gubernatorial candidate Mahlon Mitchell.
