On Saturday, August 17, 2024, Hallowed Missionary Baptist Church held its Annual Community Outreach Event. Hallowed MBC welcomed the participation of city and state representatives for a collaborative effort to offer valuable resources. Hallowed MBC’s goal was to make the community, city and state a safe place to reside and raise families. In addition, they gave away free food, school supplies, books and encouraged everyone to vote.
Many have raised concerns about a variety of “hot button” issues that face our community currently and Hallowed MBC is listening to their community and members. One of the ways they desire to be a part of the solution is to continue with an urgency, to reach out to the community via community events in an effort to promote peace as well as spiritual wholeness.
Local leaders at the event included Deputy Sheriff Dawn Colla, the 5th District Police Department, the Milwaukee Fire Dept, Engine 12; and various vendors were present and interacted with attendees.
