Brenson McKee, Sr. was born April 20, 1916 to Nettie
and Thomas McKee in Durand, Georgia. Brenson received his education in the Durand Public Schools District and later in Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS). He moved from Durand to Milwaukee at age 13. In 1937, Brenson joined the Army and was honorably discharged in 1943. In 1952, he married Ms. Lula Jean Daniels. This union was blessed with five children, Tujuanna, Bruce, Brenda, Terry and Montique.
