Wisconsin’s February 2025 primary election results

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Wisconsinites casts their ballots in the February primary. There was one statewide race on the ballot, along with some local school board races and referendums; and some races throughout the state for city, town and village offices.

There were three people in the primary runing for state superintendent of public instruction. The incumbent, Jill Underly, was challenged by Brittany Kinser and Jeff Wright. The top two finalists, Underly and Kinser, will face off the spring general election on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. In Milwaukee, there was a special primary election for the city’s 3rd Aldermanic District. Eight candidates ran to replace Alderperson Jonathan Brostoff, who died last year. The two finalists, who will face off on April 1, are Alex Brower and Daniel Bauman.
