Walnut Way Conservation Corp. hosts annual ‘Harvest Day’

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, Walnut Way Conservation Corp. hosted their annual “Harvest Day,” at Fondy Farmers Market and Park, 2200 W. Fond du Lac Ave.
The market included numerous vendors selling fruits and vegetables, preserves, flowers, art, jewelry and much more.
There was also music, dancing and other live performances on their main stage.
Later in the day there was also a vigil to honor the lives of individuals lost to both COVID-19 and violence in the city.
