Lindsay Heights and Walnut Way host ‘Halloween Trunk or Treat’

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, Central Lindsay Heights Resident Collective and Walnut Way Conservation Corp., hosted a “3rd Halloween Trunk or Treat” at the 2300 Block of North 17th Street. The event featured old fashioned Halloween style with costumes, candy, food, prizes, a live DJ, and more. Bread of Healing Clinic was in attendance offering COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots, and the Benedict Center Sisters Program shared information about resources available to women in the community. The event is coordinated annually by Emonia Barnett and four local youth from the Lindsay Heights neighborhood.
