On Saturday, March 29, 2025, The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) celebrated the “10th Annual Mayor’s Masked Ball,” at the the Pfister Hotel. It is hosted by the Honorable Mayor Cavalier Johnson and Chaired by U.S. Bank Senior Vice President Wisconsin Branch Banking Market Leader Nina V.A. Johnson. The Mayor’s Masked Ball raises scholarship dollars for local students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) supported by UNCF. Support is also provided to local students attending college here in Wisconsin. Over the past decade, the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball has raised more than $1.35-million to support UNCF student scholarships.

Honorees receiving the UNCF MASKED (Mankind Assisting Students Kindle Educational Dreams) AWARD are Northwestern Mutual and the local chapters of The Divine Nine or the National Pan-Hellenic Council which include Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
