On Thursday October 6, 2022, retired Sheriff Richard Artison was honored with the David Demos Award at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center, 750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr., by Sheriff Earnell Lucus. The David Demos Award is the highest award a member of the League of Martin can receive from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office. The award is given to members who have made a significant contribution to the Agency’s mission, beyond the ordinary call of duty, and to the residents of Milwaukee County.
