Reps. Gwen Moore and Keith Ellison host forum on gun violence

On Saturday, April 14, 2018, Congresswoman Gwen Moore (D-WI) and Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) hosted “Misery in Our Midst: A Forum on Gun Violence,” at Sojourner Family Peace Center, 619 West Walnut Street.
The forum discussed many different topics related to gun violence and its prevention, including the link between domestic violence and gun violence and how to prevent domestic abuse homicide in the city; current laws on both the state and federal levels; advocacy groups and the demand for gun safety; and the effects of domestic violence and gun violence on families.
