North Central Service Club hosts ’49th Annual Scholarship Luncheon’

The North Central Service Club (NCSC) held its “49th Annual Scholarship Luncheon” on June 1, 2024 at the Washington Park Library, 2121 N. Sherman Blvd., in Milwaukee. Eleven female scholars representing the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) were recognized. Each of the scholarship recipients submitted an essay on the theme, “When Challenges Require Me To Be Strong, I Conquer Because I Am Not Alone.” Their submissions got the attention of educators, community leaders and business professionals who make up the NCSC. The organization has awarded over $300,000 to stellar young women ready to lead and make a positive difference in the world.
