Milwaukeeans gather to protest SCOTUS opinion on Roe v. Wade

On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, protesters gathered in downtown Milwaukee to demonstrate against the United States Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the groundbreaking case that made abortion legal in the United States nearly 50 years ago. Marchers from all walks of life, male and female gathered in Red Arrow Park to voice their concern on the potential overruling of the landmark case. Many have said that overturning the law would make it much more dangerous for the health and safety of women in the US.
