Darryl Johnson, executive director of the Riverworks Development Corporation, welcomed book club leaders to an informational session and community book-read launch to about 50 attendees at The Vibe on May 9, 2018.

Individual book clubs throughout the Harambee and Riverworks neighborhoods will read “The Color of Law” over the summer.

On October 16, 2018, Richard Rothstein, author of “The Color of Law,” will address the book-read groups.

The community book-read is sponsored by the Local Initiatives Support Corp. (LISC Milwaukee), and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council.
