Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., hosts ’12th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway’

In an effort to help feed those in need this Thanksgiving, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. (MHSI), iCare, and North Shore Bank, provided nutritious groceries to Milwaukee residents on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center, 8200 W. Silver Spring Dr. MHSI staff and volunteers handed out more than 2,000 dinners to families in need at this drive-up event.

Feeding America reported that nearly 520,000 Wisconsinites do not know where their next meal is coming from. In Wisconsin, 1 in 11 people face hunger. MHSI and sponsors are working together to reduce food insecurity in the Milwaukee area.
