Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., hosts ’11th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway’

On Friday, November 18, 2022, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. (MHSI), hosted its “11th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway” at their Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center, 8200 West Silver Spring Drive. In an effort to help feed those in need this Thanksgiving, MHSI, Molina Healthcare, United Healthcare Community Plan, iCare, Feeding America, LabCorp, North Shore Bank, Feeding America and Galst Foods provided nutritious dinner items to Milwaukee residents. MHSI staff and volunteers handed out more than 2,000 dinners to families in need at this drive-up event. Feeding America reports that nearly 520,000 Wisconsinites do not know where their next meal is coming from. In Wisconsin, 1 in 11 people face hunger. MHSI and sponsors are working together to reduce food insecurity in the Milwaukee area.
