On Sunday April 16, 2023 the #1 seed Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Miami Heat 130 to 117. The Bucks came out a little flat 2 for 9 from the three point range and did not take advantage of the short game they continued to shoot the three with no success. Giannis Antetokounmpo (the Greek Freak) went in for a layup against center Kevin Love and was charged with a foul, as he fell to the court on his back with contusion and sprain on his lower back. The Bucks will monitor when he can come back for the play-offs. Wisconsin native point guard Tyler Herro, broke his right hand diving for a loose ball. Jimmy Butler poured on the Heat with 35 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, center Bam Adebayo controlled the middle scoring 22 points in the paint. The Bucks’ Khris Middleton scored 33 points and was 2 for 7 from three point range and Bobby Portis, Jr., did his job with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Brook Lopez had 10 points, and Jrue Holiday had 16 points. Players for the Bucks that we did not see on the court for this game included gaurds Goran Dragic, MarJon Beauchamp; and Pat Connaughton, center Meyers Leonard and forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks will have to play everyone to hold off the Miami Heat. Coach Bud will have to take a hard look at how the players match up and coach accordingly.
