The Fiserv Forum, the new home to the Milwaukee Bucks, held their Grand opening on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the corner of Herb Kohl Way in front of the new arena. Taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony was former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and many of the key people involved in making the dream of a new arena a reality.
Tours were also offered to show off the new basketball court,concessions and common areas. Currently the arena is 95 percent completed; once finished the Forum will seat 17,500 for basketball and up to 18,000 for concerts.
