On Monday, April 15, 2024, the Milwaukee Brewers celebrated Jackie Robinson Day at American Family Field. The Northcott Neighborhood House Seniors were invited to come to watch the Milwaukee Brewers play the San Diego Padres. The seniors enjoyed the game in one of the Brewers suites. Some of the seniors commented, “This is my first time at the stadium.” It didn’t matter to them that the Brewers lost 7 – 3. It was a great experience to see the team play and celebrate Jackie Robinson, who was the first African American p to play for a major league team, a celebration that was recognized throughout the Major League Baseball.
