On Saturday, March 19, 2016, R&B recording artist and actress Angie Stone was a special guest at Jammin’ 98.3 F.M.’s “14th Annual The Gathering: I am the Prize,” which was presented by My Choice Family Care at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s event center. In a question and answer session, Angie shared with the audience what inspires and drives her in her career and life. She also shared a couple of her chart topping hits. This year’s Gathering also featured a fashion show, hair show, inspirational poetry, work out sessions, luncheon, vendor’s area, health screenings and live performance by national recording artist Guordan Banks. The purpose of “The Gathering” is to inspire African American women in Milwaukee to improve themselves and their lives and help realize their full potential as true divas!
