On Monday, October 22, 2018, Bader Philanthropies, one of Milwaukee’s largest foundations, celebrated the grand opening ribbon cutting of their brand new global headquarters in Milwaukee, at 3300 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Drive. Rather than build a new skyscraper downtown, Bader Philanthropies opted to restore a historic building right in the 6th district, in the center of the community it is helping to support with its philanthropic work. The new headquarters project, which broke ground in May, represents an $8 million investment by Bader in the neighborhood. The headquarters is just one of the featured projects helping to revitalize King Drive and the surrounding area.
