Midnight Basketball Leagues begin for men and women in March

February 17, 2022

Milwaukee Recreation is hosting free evening basketball leagues for young people this spring!

Beginning this season, Midnight Basketball Leagues are now available for both men and women! Leagues were previously only open to men. Leagues have also expanded eligibility to ages 17-29 (city of Milwaukee residents, non-high school students), and are played at Obama SCTE and Bradley Tech.

The men’s leagues provide enrichment sessions for all athletes, connecting participants to appropriate health care, work force, and educational services. The purpose of the program is to provide a safe place for young adults to participate in a sports league, while connecting them with the many benefits that Milwaukee has to offer in their personal and professional lives. The women’s leagues do not offer enrichment sessions at this time.
