
On Friday, May 17, 2019, St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care added three new members to its Hall of Friends, during a ceremony at their Stein Campus, 2801 E. Morgan Ave. Those inducted were (pictured from left) McCarthy Grittinger Financial Groups founder John McCarthy, who spearheaded fundraising for the construction of the Bucyrus Campus; Milwaukee County Department on Aging director (retired) Stephanie Sue Stein, who served on St. Ann Center’s Board of Directors; and Alderman Russell W. Stamper II, who is alderman where the Bucyrus campus is located and helped develop the North Side Business Incubator with the Bucyrus campus. St. Ann Center founder and president Sr. Edna Lonergan presented the honor to the three inductees along with St. Ann Center staff, day care children and adult clients. The Hall of Friends Award was established in 2014 and recognizes people who have dedicated their time, talent and passion to furthering the nonprofit center’s mission of providing health and educational services for children, the elderly and adults with disabilities.
