Ten Chimneys Hosts Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program with Phylicia Rashad

On Friday, July 17, 2026, fellows and guests gathered for “A Conversation with Phylicia Rashad,” an inspiring and memorable discussion with one of America’s most celebrated artists. Then on Saturday night, the 2026 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows took center stage for The Concluding Presentation, bringing to life scenes that reflected the remarkable talent, courage, and artistry cultivated throughout their week together.
Audiences were treated to powerful excerpts from Our Town, Cabaret, Flying West, Liberation, Waiting for Godot, The Way of the World, August Osage County, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, POTUS, African School: Or African Mean Girls, and A Streetcar Named Desire.
From laughter to heartbreak, from classic works to contemporary voices, the performances showcased the range, passion, and dedication of this year’s Fellows. Thank you to Phylicia Rashad, our master teacher, Fellows, supporters, and audiences for making this year’s Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program such a memorable celebration of American theater.
