
On Monday, April 6, 2026, Boswell Book Company, America’s Black Holocaust Museum (ABHM), and Niche Book Bar presented an evening with National Book Award-winning author Imani Perry at ABHM, 401 W. North Ave. Perry appeared with the paperback edition of her latest work, “Black in Blues: How a Color Tells the Story of My People.” Perry who has written other books such as, “South to America,” turns her attention to the color blue and offers a meditation on its fascinating role in Black history and culture. Perry was interviewed by book and culture influencer Cree Myles. This event was part of the ABHM’s Book of the Month Club.
