Actor Danny Glover helps celebrate the 30th anniversary of America’s Black Holocaust Museum

On Monday, June 18, 2018, America’s Black Holocaust Museum celebrated the 30th anniversary of the opening of the original ABHM. This occasion was marked with the opening of the new museum space for the ABHM as well as The Griot apartment complex located at 401 W. North Avenue.

While the new museum will not be fully completed and open to the public until the fall, the space was far enough along in construction to give individuals a sneak peek at the new museum space. To help celebrate, actor and activist Danny Glover made a special appearance and took part in a question and answer session with Maures Development Group, LLC founder and president of Melissa Goins.
