MPS celebrates tree donation in honor of Bucks’ success

May 23, 2019

Students and staff at MPS Milwaukee School of Languages (MSL) celebrated a gift of four new trees this month along with Bango and the Milwaukee Bucks. The trees are a donation from American Transmission Company (ATC), which has provided 573 trees this spring in honor of every Bucks three-point shot at Fiserv Forum this season.

This is the third year American Transmission Company has donated trees to schools across the state. ATC became involved in the program to support environmental awareness and beautify schools. The company has now donated a total of 1,271 trees. The four trees planted at MSL were sourced from Johnson’s Nursery in Menomonee Falls.

Students actively took part in tree planting with careful supervision from Bango, the Bucks’ mascot, and representatives from ATC and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Milwaukee School of Languages is located at 8400 W. Burleigh Street in Milwaukee.

Thank you, American Transmission Company!
