On Sunday, May 22, 2016 Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School’s eighth grade students, chaperones and parents gathered for a prayer. Afterward the students and chaperones boarded a bus for a multi-city Civil Rights Tour of the South. The students will be visiting historic sites in cities like Montgomery and Selma. This year’s trip will mark the last for Milwaukee Public Schools DDCE project coordinator Tyrone Dumas.
