The Salvation Army is a worldwide and charitable organization and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible, its ministry is motivated by the love of God, and its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus the Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army has been the organization spotlighted this month for its charitable work.
The conclusion of this series will highlight a generous gift given to the community at Christmas by the Salvation Army and that is the Christmas Family Feast. The 29th Annual Christmas Family Feast will be held on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018. This event is open to the public. The 29th Annual Christmas Family Fest will be held at the Wisconsin Center, 400 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the meal will be served from 11:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
The Salvation Army’s Christmas Family Feast is the largest ever hosted by the Salvation Army on Christmas Day in the U.S. There are nearly 1,400 volunteers that typically help serve more than 8,000 people at the Wisconsin Center. This year’s menu will consist of:

• Yams
• Mashed Potatoes
• Green Beans
• Dessert
• Beverages
