There is still time to join Next Door and over 1,000 supporters on the Walk for Children

May 13, 2016

Walkers

There is still time to join Next Door and over 1,000 supporters on the Walk for Children this

Saturday May 14th at the Next Door Headquarters located at 2545 N. 29th St. Registration begins

at 9:00am and the walk starts at 10:00. It’s such a fun family event with no fee to walk, and you can

bring your entire family…including the dog! It is also possible to register

https://everydayhero.com/us/sign-in online ahead of time.

By participating you make such a wonderful contribution toward the important work of Next Door

http://www.nextdoormil.org/NextDoor.htm is doing. They are making a difference in the Metcalf

park community, the lives of children, and adult education and well-being. Next Door has partnered

with Children’s Hospital and opened a new onsite health and dental clinic offering free health care

to the children. They offer an adult GED program and a program for fathers. They provide free

books to children among other services.

It’s a very short walk through the community; along the way there will be celebrity mascots, Eddie

Butts band, host Andrea Williams, Green Bay walk leader, face painting, games, and raffle!

All proceeds from the event will support the educational programs at Next Door and help prepare

children for first grade and beyond.
