Greater Milwaukee Urban League: A Legacy of Hope, A Future of Possibility

December 23, 2025

We stand at the intersection of legacy and possibility. For 106 years, the Greater Milwaukee Urban League has been a beacon of hope, a catalyst for opportunity, and an unwavering voice for economic vibrancy and social change in our community.

Our mission has always been clear: unite people of all backgrounds to invest in our collective tomorrow. We champion the young architects of transformation—community leaders and corporate partners who understand that when we lift one, we elevate all.

When we unite, we declare that Milwaukee will be built on equity, excellence, and unwavering commitment to opportunity for every person in our community.

When we give, we honor not just what has been accomplished, but the seeds that have been sown and what is yet to come—investing in the dreams and potential of those who will shape the next generation.

When we collaborate, each partnership we build opens new pathways and lights the way forward for emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

Greater Milwaukee Urban League has persevered through challenge and triumph alike. We thrust forward in 2026, focusing on workforce readiness, closing the digital divide, financial literacy and generational wealth, and career pathways.

As we come together this holiday season, we give thanks to you for your support throughout the year. May we work together in 2026 to bring renewed hope, endless possibilities, and continued prosperity for everyone in Greater Milwaukee.

Together, let’s honor the legacy we carry and create a place where everyone has the chance to thrive.

With gratitude and purpose,

Dr. Eve M. Hall
President and CEO
Greater Milwaukee Urban League
